Former WI Governor Earl Passes

KDWA has learned that former Wisconsin Governor Tony Earl, who served as governor from 1983 to 1987, passed away, after suffering a stroke earlier this week. Current Governor Tony Evers commented that Earl was “a formidable leader and public servant, trusted colleague and mentor, and a good and loyal friend”, adding that, “Tony was well-liked and respected by so many.” Earl was 86.
