Hastings Fire and EMS crews were dispatched to the area of Roadside Park in Hastings on Friday afternoon for a detached garage fire. Crews arrived to find a fire, suspected to have been caused by gas being sparked, and the rear corner of the garage sustained significant damage. The occupant of the residence was injured in the fire, but the extent of the injuries are unknown. The cause remains under investigation.
