Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center is Hastings’ own location for education and awareness of the ecosystem for the Lower St. Croix River Valley, and all of its splendor. While CNC uses mostly humans to educate, enlighten and inform, there are a number of animal ambassadors for the organization. Executive Director Jennifer Vieth explains.
CNC also offers expeditions out of the area to help educate the public on environmental concerns.
