The Hastings Police Department reports that the Department received a call on Wednesday morning of a medical emergency at Roadside Park. According to an HPD press release, officers and medics arrived at the playground to find a male in his 40s with no signs of life. After processing the scene, the body was taken by the Hennepin County Medical Center and identification is pending notification to next of kin. Chief David Wilske says this is an active investigation within the Hastings Police Department, and there are no safety concerns for the community related to this incident or at Roadside Park.
