Orange Dragon Gallery Opens For 2023

The Orange Dragon Art Gallery, located at 122 Orange Street in Prescott, will open Wednesday, April 5th for the 2023 season. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday, from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with special events every few months for seasonal exhibits. The Spring Exhibit will kick off Wednesday, April 5th with student artwork from Prescott High School. Classes are taught by district art teacher Anne Kressley, who curates and organizes the student work for the exhibit. It will run from April 5th until May 7th at the Gallery. Student art work is for sale. In addition to the student art work, local artists for the 2023 season will start showing their work and will be on full display starting May 10th until June 4th for the “Fresh Look” spring exhibit. To celebrate the 2023 season, student artwork and local artists, the Gallery will host a “block pARTy” on Friday, April 21st from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Art will be on sale, local Prescott musician Tim Dempsey will perform, there will be crafts to make and take, and food and treats provided. Additional entertainment and activities are also being planned. Everyone is invited to attend.
