The annual March For Them on Memorial Day in Hastings changed the marching route this year, from a 28-mile march from Red Wing to Hastings, to a march on the 10-mile Scenic River Trail Loop, starting and ending in Hastings. March Organizer Tom Wright said that the route change definitely affected the number of participants of the March.
Wright was also happy that the age range of participants also widened.
