With recent legislation passed at the MN State Capitol legalizing recreational use of cannabis, Hastings City Administration petitioned the City Council to allow City Staff time to study the new laws to help determine City Ordinances for cannabis sale and use. City Administrator Dan Wietecha presented the item on Monday night.
A local brewer, Morgan, offered an opposing view to the moratorium.
The Council did not bring a motion to the floor to impose the moratorium.
