Goodwin Avenue through Vermillion has become a heavily-traveled stretch of highway in rural Dakota County, which has also has increased the number of car crashes along the stretch of road. Dakota County Sheriff Joe Leko recently commented on the increased frequency of crashes.
The primary adjustment that all drivers can make is to slow down.
The Highway 52 reroute that uses Goodwin Avenue is anticipated to end by the end of July, according to Sheriff Leko.
