The City of Hastings is making preparations for winter, and the Hastings Police Department wishes to remind residents about the City’s “Snow Emergency” rule. Deputy Chief of Police Bryan Schowalter comments.
As a reminder, the City of Hastings no longer uses the Nixle System to alert residents about snow emergencies.
During a declared emergency, parking on City streets is not permitted until the street has been plowed curb to curb.
