The long wait to replace the iconic red slide at Roadside Park in Hastings is now complete, as the Hastings Parks and Recreation Department reports that the new slide is now installed and open for use. It was a long process to get a replacement slide, and while Parks and Rec knows they can never really replace the beloved red slide, they hope the new blue slide will provide lots of fun for the kids. The red slide was removed due to age and damages.
