The Miesville Fire Department placed a new rescue truck into service on November 5th. The 2012 Ford F550 4X4 came to the MFD from a fire department in Alabama and replaced a 1992 Ford L8000. Within 45 minutes of going into service, the new truck was dispatched for a medical call. MFD officials are confident that this vehicle will serve the department and community well for many years to come.
