A fatal crash occured just south of Hampton on Monday, April 29. Sheriff Joe Leko provided KDWA with an update.
The 28-year-old woman was identified as Maria De Lose Garcia Galindo of Saint Paul. She was taken to Regions Hospital in Saint Paul. The 3-year-old has not been publicly identified.
Leko continued with a call for eliminating distractions while driving.
