HFD Rescues Baby Ducklings

Firefighters often practice for emergencies and used their rescue skills to help a mother in distress on Monday. While walking with her little ones near city hall, four slipped thru a safety grate resulting in a call for help to firefighters Chris Paulson and new hire Jeremy Hall. The grate was removed, with a frantic mom hovering nearby with the rest of her family. A short ladder was necessary to descend into the cement holding area and thanks to some leafy debris, there didn’t seem to be any injuries noted to the missing group. Firefighter Hall soon emerged with all safely in tow to reunite the family who with a thankful quack, waddled along on their way.
