RTD Buttons on Sale

Sales of Rivertown Days buttons have begun, and the incentive for thinking ahead will save you 20% as the cost until Thursday is $4.00 with button cost at $5.00 beginning on that Friday. Buttons can be purchased at the Hastings Chamber of Commerce, 214 Vermillion Street Monday thru Friday until 5:00pm, and in several Hastings businesses downtown and throughout the city. Some of those outlets will have signs in their shops with the popular toy Gumby and Pokey. Buttons with the green and orange cartoon characters are in big demand, and are the main source of funding for the entertainment chosen for the festival such as Nashville rising star Natalie Stovall and crowd favorite GB Leighton. The winner of Minnesot Sings State Finals, Samantha Kent will be joining Leighton for a number when he performs at the Jaycee Park Main Stage on Saturday Night. Attendees ages 12 and above will require a button for the Friday evening events which begin at 5:00pm, and events on Saturday. There is no button required for park entrance on Sunday which will include Music played by My Music Matters Radio Show and the Finals for Hastings Sings at 3:30pm.
