The Board of County Commissioners are in the middle of budget planning and Mike Slavik, First District Commissioner of Dakota County, shared the process that determines the rate.
Slavik provides a reference for what that rate will mean for the average homeowner in Dakota county.
The Budget will see work thru the end of the year with an opportunity in late fall for the public to witness the final cuts to the proposed list of funded items.
