Hastings Fire Department crews were spread thin this past weekend with a high number of emergency calls. Hastings Fire Chief Mike Schutt goes over the busy weekend.
Days like these are the reason Hastings has mutual aid agreements with its neighboring fire departments.
So far in 2015, the Hastings Fire Department has averaged approximately nine and a half calls per day.
