This week the Wakota CAER and Hastings Fire have been hosting a 3 day class to train and improve the ability of responders to deal with oil spills into fresh water, such as rivers and lakes. The hands on training took place on Lake Rebecca. Hastings Fire Chief Mike Schutt spoke to KDWA News on what took place.
