Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Summer

Special recognitions will take place all summer long by the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon organization providing a face to the names of those who have served. In June July and August exhibits will be on display at the Pleasant Hill Library, Mid Country Band, the Hastings City Hall and the Hastings American Legion. On June 11th as part of the Amber Alert Motorcycle Run, there will be Military Appreciate beginning at 9:30 AM at Dugarel’s Bar and Grill. During Hastings Rivertown Days, July 15-17th look for observances at Veterans Park Athletic Complex with hot air balloon Freedom Flight with POW and MIA logo on display at the fields. At the Little Log House Pioneer Show on July 28th through the 31st, there will be a display and also at the Dakota County Fair in Farmington on August 10th, Military Day and on August 11th, Senior Day. Be sure to support the volunteers who will man these events, giving information and connections to our military families.
