Cardinals Split Title With Ellsworth After Wild Tuesday

Boy Drowns in Mississippi River

The Washington County Sheriffs Department reported that on Memorial Day a 14-year-old boy went into the Mississippi River. The boy had gone into the river to retrieve a stick, but never surfaced. Washington County Commander, Jerry Cusick, explains the incident. Click here for audio

Prescott Softball Opens Playoffs Tuesday

The Prescott Cardinals Girls Softball Team is also set to open their 2014 Spring Playoffs, as Regionals begin on Tuesday at home, at 5:00pm. The #1 Cardinals will host #4 Bloomer, who defeated #5 Colfax on Thursday, 5-0. Stay tuned to KDWA for more throughout the Regional Playoffs!
