Winter Sports End, As Cardinals Fall In Title Game

The KDWA Winter Sports Season came to a comnclusion on Saturday, as the Prescott Cardinals Boys Basketball Team fell in the Sectional Championship Game to Elk Mound, 48-37, on KDWA. With the loss, the Cardinals end their season at 22-4, and will have a season recap interview with Coach Johnson next week.

Dakota County Drug Task Force

On November, 22nd 2013 the Dakota County Drug Task Force excacuted a search warrant at a Hastings residence resulting in the recovery of 3.4 pounds of Marijuana. The couple arrested, Andrew and Karilyn Matz have been charged with two counts of controlled sunstance crimes in the fifth degree.
