Local Veteran Advocate Dean Markuson has been inducted into the Prestigious Marquis “Who’s Who” Biographical Registry. According to a press release from Who’s Who, since 2018, Markuson has excelled as Chief Executive of the Foss and Swanson Community Service Center, after managing the Hastings Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Campaign for many years. Markuson has over 20 years of military service in the U. S. Army, attaining the rank of First Sergeant, and is a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. For his military service, Markuson has been awarded a number of awards, decorations, campaign medals, and service ribbons.
