The MN State Patrol has reported that a 16-year-old Rochester girl was killed in an auto accident on Highway 52 near Cannon Falls on Sunday morning. According to the State Patrol, a Kia Soul being driven by 22-year-old Rochester resident Daniel Desmond Yeung was north bound on Highway 52, when the vehicle left the roadway, entered the median and rolled across the south bound lanes. Yeung suffered life threatening injuries in the crash, and his juvenile passenger was killed. Yeung was taken to St. Mary’s hospital. The report indicates neither occupant of the vehicle was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Goodhue County Sheriff?s Department.
