The Hastings American Legion encourages local residents to use Memorial Day as a time to consider commemorating loved ones that served and sacrificed all in service to the USA. Legion member Al Altendorfer says a memorial plaque at the Legion Post is an excellent way to honor those that served, and help fund civic projects the Legion conducts.
