Over the weekend, in addition to a herd of goats at GRRVLC in Prescott, a second herd of goats was brought to Oakwood Cemetery in Hastings to accomplish the same mission to eat up the invasive plant species threatening to overtake the grounds. According to posts on social media, the goats were brought in on Friday, and were also available to watch on Saturday. Cemetery Volunteer Shirley Dalaska commented on the need.
Observers noted that the goats carried out the mission with a hungry passion.
