A mid afternoon accident at 10th and Vermillion Streets on Tuesday afternoon caused a bit of a backup in the southbound lane of Vermillion Street. According to witnesses on the scene, a vehicle ran a red light, causing a collision with a second vehicle in the intersection. A third vehicle narrowly avoided being struck.
The crash remains under investigation.
