Beyond the Yellow Ribbon is an organization dedicated to assisting veterans. The Hastings chapter of the organization merged a number of years ago with the Cottage Grove Chapter to provide services for veterans in the Cottage Grove/Hastings Area. Hastings City Council member Lori Braucks sits on the board for the local chapter, and brought some news to the City Council meeting on Monday evening.
