Pursuant to the Federal Census completed in 2020, the City of Hastings took up the task of making adjustments to ward boundaries within the City. At Monday evening’s City Council meeting Assistant City Administrator Kelly Murtaugh presented a summary of the Ordinance Amendment Section 1.03: Ward Boundaries.
The Charter Commission has recommended approval of the proposed changes, and the City Council approved the changes after a public hearing in which no comments were given.
