DIY Park Cleanup Update

The City of Hastings Parks and Recreation Department reports that 12 organizations and families have already taken time to clean up Hastings Parks and Trails during the Hastings DIY Park Cleanup Event. Groups include the families of Butch Peine, the Caneffs, the Crisps, ant the Olerichs, the Hastings Hawks, Rivertown Lions Club, ISD 200 3rd Graders, the Rotary Club, Friends of Lions Park, United Steel Workers, the Fire Department Relief Association, and Hastings Progressives. Parks and Rec encourages everyone to plan a DIY cleanup with your family, community group, business, or just yourself. Call 651-480-6182 or contact PMarschall@HastingsMN.gov during regular business hours for a Park or trail assignment and to schedule your cleanup date of choice. Cleanup supplies are available for pickup.
