The staff of Dakota County Parks report that the Hastings Environmental Protectors recently completed a cleanup effort at Spring Lake Park Reserve and other areas along the banks of the Mississippi River nearby. County park management continue to stress the need for volunteer efforts to maintain the natural beauty of the county’s undeveloped park areas, and thank those that sign up and commit to removing debris, waste, and other detractors. Volunteers like these help keep our county a clean, safe place to live and play. Learn more about volunteering by visiting the County website.
