Renovations and work on the expansion at Spiral Natural Foods in Hastings are nearing completion. According to information provided by Spiral, the new space is almost ready, and they are hoping to open by the middle of June. New coolers and freezers are in, and the last bit of equipment is on the way. The market still seeks people to work with preparing food in the deli. Funding for the project also continues, and is getting close to the goal of $90,000. Spiral still needs to raise $24,000 in new preferred shares. Valley Natural Foods in Burnsville is offering to match up to $10,000 of preferred shares if Spiral can raise it by opening day.
