The Hastings Planning Commission deliberated a request for a Conditional Use Permit submitted by Hub’s Landing to install more boat docking space at the marina. City Planner Justin Fortney provided the background on the request.
Applicant Mark Frazer also provided his background for the request.
In response to Commissioner’s concerns, Frazer also said that parking is under control and they would take actions if that changed. The Commission voted 3-2, with Commisisoners Melanie Peters and Chris Teiken opposed, to recommend the approval as presented. The City Council will review the request on July 5th.
