The Perkins Restaurant on Vermillion Street reopened for business at 8 AM on Monday morning, and by all accounts, the reopening was a big success. Mary Larson, VP of Operations for Perkins commented on the process of bringing the building back from the fire last August.
During the rebuild, the Manager of Perkins, Becca Caneff, was hired on at Dakota County, but Perkins Regional Manager Jody Verhaest reassured customers that Becca will still be seen at Perkins.
The reopening ceremony included a presentation of Colors by Lyle Russell Hastings Post 1210 of the VFW.
