Even with summer vacation in full swing, the Prescott School District reports that Prescott student Logan Riley was awarded first place in the Pierce County Ag in the Classroom Contest. This year’s participants were prompted to write about the impact corn has on Wisconsin’s economy and was part of the STEM program. Logan just completed fifth grade and is the son of Tom and Bradi Riley of Prescott. As the first place winner, Logan received a $50 prize from the Pierce County Farms Bureau.
