The Hastings Parks and Recreation Department, and Director Chris Jenkins in particular, received compliments from the East Hastings Improvement Association with regards to the Lake Isabel Park Project. Pete Likes brought his comments to the City Council on Monday evening.
A budget amendment to approve bidding the project passed the Council by unanimous vote, with a directive for staff to determine if the full-court basketball area is feasible.
