Ahead of the August 9th primary election for the Hastings City Council, KDWA has learned that Candidate Dean Markuson has withdrawn from the election. Initial reports indicate that the withdrawal is for personal reasons but no further explanation has been made available at this time. KDWA has reached out to Dean for comment and we’ll bring updates as they become available.
