The Hastings Police Department opened the City Council meeting on Monday evening with the swearing in of HPD Sergeant Kyle Linscheid as a Commander on the Force. Police Chief David Wilske made the presentation.
Linscheid has been on the force since 2008, serving as a patrol officer, school resource officer, and working with the Dakota County Drug Task Force, among other duties.
