At Monday evening’s Hastings City Council meeting, Assistant City Administrator Kelly Murtaugh presented an off-sale liquor license application from Spiral Brewery following the recent liquor ordinance amendment allowing small brewers to apply for an off-sale license.
As Council member Jen Fox is one of the owners of Spiral, she indicated she would not be voting on the issue.
The Council approved the license application.
