The Hastings Police Department reports that on Monday, August 29th, officers responded to a report of a burglary at Vermillion Bank that occurred in the early morning hours. HPD Chief David Wilske said in an email that this case is an active investigation and HPD has made no arrests in this case. Because of the active investigation, no other details have been released, and Department officials ask that anyone with information regarding this incident contact authorities.
