At Monday evening’s City Council meeting, the Prescott Council deliberated a rate hike for water utilities in town. City Administrator Matt Wolf introduced the measure to the Council.
Wolf also explained how the 4.5% rate was determined.
Discussion from the Council included possible rescinding of the rate at a later date, and when to send out public notice and file the application with with the State Public Services Commission. The measure passed by majority vote.
