The City of Hastings regrets to announce that, due to forecasted extreme weather, the Santa visits and Santa drive through town, originally scheduled for December 22nd, are canceled, due to the pending weather. According to City staff, Santa is busy making hot chocolate to ensure he is warm on Christmas Eve and he is concerned about the children in frigid temperatures. Santa requests that all kids stay home and stay warm.
