Community members in Hastings took to social media on Tuesday morning to comment that the Perkins had been closed to the public, and speculation was that another fire had occurred. KDWA reached out to Perkins for comment and learned that there was no fire at the restaurant. The associate we spoke to could not comment any more on the situation.
