Mill’s Fleet Farm in Hastings provides a service of collecting unserviceable United States Flags for retirement ceremonies provided by Hastings Lyle Russell VFW Post 1210. Until recently, the collected flags were stored in cardboard boxes until the retirement ceremony. Marketing Coordinator Marcie Jay.
She also said that the flags were stored somewhat “unceremoniously”.
The VFW and Quality One Woodworking in Hastings have provided a dignified solution for flag storage.
The new storage container will be presented to Fleet Farm at a ceremony at 9 AM on Thursday, April 6th, at Fleet Farm.
