Now that the snowstorms appear to be over for the KDWA listening area, we turn our attention to the potential for spring flooding along both the Mississippi and St. Croix Rivers. On Monday evening the Hastings City Council heard an update from City Administrator Dan Wietecha on the City’s preparations for the threat of flooding.
The City Council directed the Operations Committee to further review the concerns of sandbagging, and access to Cowtown during flooding events.
