Boating season in Hastings and Prescott is just around the corner, and on Monday evening, the Hastings City Council revisited a concern raised by Hastings residents and businesses regarding traffic on the river. Council member Tina Folch expressed frustration on the lack of action for declaring the Hastings waterfront as a “No-Wake” Zone.
Police Chief David Wilske briefed the Council on the jurisdiction of the river.
Chief Wilske said he would continue communication with stakeholders to move a proposal forward.
