The Hastings City Council recently awarded Community Investment Fund dollars for seven projects focused on partnerships and civic engagement. According to a City news release, groups receiving funding include the Downtown Business Association, Building Remembrance for Reconciliation, the Dakota County Historical Society LeDuc Mansion, the Hastings Football Club, and Hastings Environmental Protectors. These allocations remain within the $100,000 budget allocation for the 2023 Fund. Approximately $72,675 is being allocated at this time. Applicants are matching this allocation with up to $42,900 to complete their projects.
