Charges Brought After Teen’s Synthetic Drug Overdose

Alexander Lee Clausen and Cole Alexander Matenaer have been sentenced for their conviction in the synthetic drug overdose death of Tara Fitzgerald of Woodbury. Clausen was sentenced to 74 months in prison and Matenaer was sentenced to 15 years probation and 365 days in the county jail. Washington County Attorney Pete Orput comments on the …

Matinee Final: Mahtomedi 7, Hastings 1

The Hastings Boys Hockey Team led #4-A Mahtomedi (16-2-1 overall) 1-0 after one period, but all that did was wake up the Zephyrs’ offense, scoring seven unanswered goals, in their 7-1 romp over the Raiders (7-11-1 overall). Hastings has a full week off, as they prepare for Tartan at home, next Thursday on KDWA!
