City Council Approves Fireworks for Summer

The Hastings City Council has approved fireworks licenses for the Coborn’s and Walmart stores in Hastings to allow them to sell fireworks in their parking lots this summer. The Council also approved a one-day gambling permit for the Hastings YMCA to be used for their River Town Days Duck Race on July 19th.

MNDOT Delegated Contract Process Agreement Authorized

The Hastings City Council has passed a resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a MNDOT Delegated Contract Process Agreement. The agreement allows the City to use the delegated contract process for federal aid projects.
