The MN Legislature began its first Special Session for 2021, on the monthly occasion of the anticipated continued renewal of Governor Walz’s Emergency Powers, but to also work out a budget before a state government shutdown at the end of June. Senator Karla Bigham is hopeful for a productive session.
The current budget expires at the end of June.
