With the closing of Emily’s Bakery, another local well-known establishment, the M&H gas station at 15th and Vermillion has had to find another source for the commuter’s morning doughnut or other baked goods. M&H now provides bakery items from Hanisch Bakery, in Red Wing. KDWA spoke with Bill Hanisch about the shortage of qualified bakers.
Emily’s made the hard decision to close after they could not find qualified bakers for hire.
