The Hastings City Council received a report on a corridor study of County Highway 46 that was conducted by Dakota County. Project Manager Jenna Fabish presented the report to the Council
Fabish also reported that the total estimated costs are $15,335,000 with Dakota County’s portion $13,039,850 and the City of Hastings at $2,295,150. Fabish recommended submission of a regional solicitation application which, if successful, could lead to construction as early as 2024. Community Development Director John Hinzman listed the action items for the Council’s consideration.
After deliberation of the costs and sharing, and timing with other proposed projects in the area, the Council approved the resolution, Letter of Support, and the amendment to the agreement with Dakota County.
